Huawei launches VR headset in China along with its P9 series phones

Huawei has launched its first virtual reality device called Huawei VR, along with the launch of its flagship P9 P9 Plus and smartphones ship in China. The price of virtual reality device has not been announced yet, but in terms of appearance clearly resembles Samsung Gear VR.


According to Engadget, the VR Huawei will be the first virtual reality device that will offer 360-degree sound field on the fly. It will work with Huawei P9, P9 Plus and kill 8 phones for now. The handset is not compatible with prescription lenses, but the lenses can be adjusted to accommodate myopia up to -7.00.
