Stop what you're doing now and start downloading open Beta on Steam Doom. Hurry, time is short! Bethesda is being doom multiplayer public Beta on Steam from 15 April to 18 April.
Turn, the third reboot a right that has been going strong since 1993 is set to revitalize aging right to take players back to the roots of the original. Waiting run, pedal-to-the-metal action, blood, Gore, and all the little bells and miridzo at all has been part of the franchise, and ID Software since 1993.
The game, at least the multiplayer portion of it, has been developed by Certain Affinity. These are ex-Bungie developers who’ve worked on Halo and Call of Duty: Ghosts (an awful game, we might add) and die-hard Doom fans who’ve spent time with the closed beta have left some pretty scathing reviews. The consensus seems to be that Certain Affinity has basically reskinned Halo with DOOM artwork. Whether that’s good or bad depends on your affinity to Halo and your love for the Doom franchise.
Regardless, you can play the multiplayer beta right now. Keep the naysayers at bay and make up your own mind about the game.
